The December 5, 2007 meeting was hosted by the New England Federal Credit Union in Williston. The agenda included presentations about egress filtering and "Sender Provided For" records, as well an an update about the January cyberwarfare tabletop exercise. The chapter's September 20, 2007 meeting was hosted by National Bank of Middlebury in Middlebury. The agenda included a general business meeting, update about the national chapter and other projects, and a status update about the planned cyberwarfare tabletop exercise. The chapter's March 9, 2007 meeting was held at Norwich University in Northfield. The agenda included a general business meeting, executive committee elections, discussion of national InfraGard issues (again!), issues related to the use of encryption on corporate computing resources, input on whether we should continue VT INFOSAFE presentation program, and general networking. The chapter's July 21, 2006 meeting was held at Vermont Public Radio in Colchester. After some general business discussions, Gary Kessler, Champlain College, spoke about "Cell Phone Forensics" and Rich Parker, VPR, spoke about "Securing Radio Station Transmitters." The chapter's January 13, 2006 meeting was held at Bolton Valley Resort. This was a general business meeting with presentations by our FBI coordinator, TC Fuller, and other issues related to the future directions of the chapter and the ongoing relationship with the national and regional InfraGard organization. The chapter's July 22, 2005 meeting was held at the Vermont Public Radio studios in Colchester. "Phishing" was the topic of the educational session: "Phishing: Responses and Defenses" by Roy Gates (TD Banknorth), "Identity Theft" by Lt. Mark Lauer (Vermont State Police), and "Phishing: The Problem and Solutions" by Chris Brenton. A meeting announcement can be found here.
The chapter held its first "official" Annual Business meeting on 22 February 2005 at IDX in South Burlington. The Board of Directors was elected, a thank you gift was presented to our outgoing FBI coordinator, S.A. Tom Leene, and a new coordinator, S.A. TC Fuller, was welcomed. The chapter held a kickoff event and press conference for the VT INFOSAFE Project on Monday, May 10, 2004 at Champlain College in Burlington. Speakers included Governor James Douglas; Brigadier General William A. Noyes, Deputy Adjutant General for the Vermont National Guard; Kerry Sleeper, Commissioner of the Vermont Public Safety Dept.; Vermont Attorney General William Sorrell; Lt. Michael Schirling, Burlington Police Dept. and coordinator of the Vermont Internet Crimes Task Force; Vermont U.S. Attorney Peter Hall; Special Agent in Charge Keith A. DeVincentis, FBI Albany Office; Gary Kessler, Chair, Vermont InfraGard; and Clifford Riggs, VT INFOSAFE Project Manager.

The 2nd Annual INFOSEC Student Symposium occurred on 25 February 2004 at Norwich University, Northfield, VT. Students from Norwich University, Champlain College, Dartmouth University, and the University of Vermont participates as speakers. The Vermont Information Technology Center, with support from several InfraGard members, held a half-day meeting titled "Information Security Considerations for the Financial Services Sector" on Thursday, October 2, 2003.

The Fifth e-protectIT Infrastructure Protection Conference occurred on 25-27 March 2003 at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont. As in the past, there were two days of pre-conference training in computer forensics, INFOSEC basics, and the yearly INFOSEC UPDATE, followed by a one-day colloquium. Our sixth chapter meeting was held on October 2, 2002 at Vermont Technical College in Randolph. Speakers and talks included: Dr. Dave Whitmore (Champlain College), "Wireless Technology Overview" (plus extra handout); Sean Peters (Huber+Suhner, Inc.), "Securing a Wireless LAN in a Manufacturing Environment"; Todd Wilson (Cisco Systems), "Wireless Security"; Eric Whyne (Norwich University), "DefCon: Debrief on Wireless LANs"; and George Bakos and Bob Hillery (in abstentia) (Dartmouth Institute for Security Technology Studies), "Wireless: '11b' or not '11b'." We held our fifth meeting on May 9, 2002 at IDX in South Burlington. Speakers and talks included: Ken Camp (IP Adventures) on "Best Current Practices in Computer and Network Security"; Rich Parker (Vermont Public Radio) on VPR's experiences developing a security plan; Andrew Haag (Fletcher Allen Health Care) on "Information Security: The Missing Pieces"; a representative from the US Army's Information Assurance Directorate on "Homeland Security"; and Mike Stridsberg (IDX) on "HIPAA Privacy and Security Mandates." We held our third meeting open to anyone in the Vermont information technology or information security community on 23 July 2001 on the campus of Champlain College (Burlington, VT). The day comprised two sessions: the morning session offered "An Introduction to Information Security for Managers and Other Non-Techies" and the afternoon was the general business/technical meeting where we discussed forensics and incident response. At this meeting, we approved the current slate of officers for a period of up to one year to form the organization of the chapter.
